I’ve seen Bisous No.5 every time I passed by this alley on An-Ho Road more than a dozen times. For some reason I felt like it’s calling my name and tonight I finally had the chance to go inside to check it out!
Judging by the storefront I thought Bisous No.5 is a lounge that’s upscale and overpriced. As I walked in and browsed through the menu, I realized that the prices are more than affordable. The lounge manager, everyone calls him Kai, has been in the lounge business for 13 years now. When Kai began to work on Bisous No.5 he positioned this lounge as a high class joint and yet affordable. 「Opening a lounge in an affluent area as An-Ho Road we aim to attract quality customers with luxurious service and affordable prices.」said Kai.
Kai’s reverse marketing strategy was a success. Bisous No.5 will soon celebrate its second anniversary despite zero advertising. Simply by word of mouth Bisous No.5 built a steady clientele, mostly society elites ranging from the age 25 to 40. Among the clientele there are a lot of white-collar single female. Reportedly the most popular cocktail requested by single ladies and their female friends is LONG ISLAND ICE TEA (350). 750cc per glass is more than generous and it’s so smooth that it goes down easily that you forget that it’s a cocktail. The interesting thing is that it’s got lots of alcohol but you can barely taste it. Therefore ladies are likely to get buzzed after one glass. Kai is confident that most ladies will be in lala land by the time they finish the second one. If not he’s happy to give you 10% off.
The other must-have cocktail is a house special (250) created by Kai. He spent serious time and efforts to design cocktails catering to ladies and this house special even brought Kai an award in cocktail mixing competition. Mixing peaches, vodka and Italy red wine Bisous No.5 house special has a distinctive aroma and smooth taste as well.
Personally I recommend Bisous No.5 special way to drink whiskey. With ratio of 1:1 whiskey and house blend honey green tea are the least expected combination and yet incredibly tasty! Every time I drink I tend to get hungry. Right about now an order of Bisous No.5 signature dish BEEF FILET IN RED WINE (400) will curb my craving. The meat is super tender and served in strips so that it’s easy to share with friends. Another highly recommended by regulars is STINKY TOFU, PEPPER FLAVORED (250). Tofu is fried and then stir-fried, making it crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!
There are six booths and four tables and all of them require reservation in advance (minimum charges 3,000 to 5,000). On the weekends Bisous No.5 gets jam-packed because when the clock strikes midnight sexy dancers will put on a show for the crowd. If you fail to make a reservation you can always sit at the bar area. The booths are very specious, perfect for large groups and birthday parties. Showbiz people like to come here for private parties because the booths provide great privacy. You’re guaranteed a good time if you remember to leave your car at home. Parking around An-Ho Road is scarce. After one night of great fun Bisous No.5 will call for cabs for those who stay up all night.
Let’s say Bisous No.5 is a gorgeous woman. If you judge the book by its cover then you’ll miss out on a pretty babe with class. If you tend to hesitate when you meet a pretty woman then you’ll never get to know a babe who’s so down to earth that reminds you of a girl next door!

在Bisous No.5的低調奢華中，遇到好喝到讓人微醺的調酒
經過這條安和路的巷子不下數十次，每回看到Bisous No.5 總覺得它在呼喚我的名字。今晚終於讓我有機會一探究竟！
看外觀，我以為亮晶晶的Bisous No.5是個高不可攀的夜店。走進店內，打開菜單才知道原來價位是如此的平易近人。在業界人稱小凱的店經理，在這行有十三年的豐富經驗，當初在規劃Bisous No.5時，就以高格調、低消費為定位。小凱說：「在精華地段安和路開夜店，我們希望有質感的客人上門，但是對於價位我們採取的是大眾化的消費、奢華的享受。」
小凱的逆向操作果然奏效，即將慶祝兩週年慶的Bisous No.5從沒打過廣告，光憑口耳相傳，客人就源源不絕，而且都是二十五歲到四十歲的社會精英份子，當中有不少的單身粉領族。據說單身女性和姐妹淘來到這必點的是長島冰茶（350)，不但是750cc超大杯，而且口感超順的，讓你忘了它是杯調酒！有趣的是其中酒精成份其實很多，小凱說因為喝不到酒精味，所以很容易一口接一口，通常女性朋友一杯下肚就微醺。如果有粉領族喝兩杯還沒感覺的，一律打九折。
另一款調酒是小凱的私房調（250)，不但是得過獎的，而且是小凱特別為女性朋友研發的！水蜜桃、伏特加和義大利紅酒調配出來的香氣很獨特，也很順口。
我個人非常推薦喝威士忌時加入特調的蜂蜜綠茶，以一比一的比例是最適合不過！每次喝酒我都會肚子餓，這時候來一份Bisous No.5的必點主菜紅酒牛菲力（400)，肉質嫩，而且切成條狀方便食用。另外一款椒鹽臭豆腐（250)，先炸過再快炒，香酥的很！
Bisous No.5有六個包廂和四張桌子提供客人預約（基本消費三至五千)，每到週末就人滿為患，因為一到半夜，有火辣的舞者表演；沒有提早訂位的朋友坐在吧台區。包廂的空間都很大，適合朋友聚會和慶生會，也因為隱密性高，演藝圈的私人派對也常常在這舉辦。我覺得既然要出來喝酒就要盡興，把車子留在家裡，反正安和路也是很難找停車位的；一夜狂歡之後，Bisous No.5提供叫車服務，貼心到家。
假設Bisous No.5是個女人，如果僅以外貌取人，那麼你就會錯過一個有內涵的漂亮寶貝！如果因為看到漂亮寶貝而怯步的人，就會平白錯失認識一個親切的美人胚子！
