T.K.K. Fried Chicken, a 33-year-old Taiwan brand of fast-food chain, decided to revamp itself by creating Jo’s House restaurant, a brand that aims to serve affordable western style dishes.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive lunch in the east section of Taipei, the newly open Jo’s House is worth a try! First let me introduce you to Jo’s House Loco Meal (190). The idea originated from El Pollo Loco which in Spanish means “crazy chicken.” The chicken is marinated for hours in seasonal fruits and vegetables. It comes with 1/2 roasted chicken, 2 tortillas and a cup of salsa. The proper way to eat this is to take a tortilla, wrap the meat with the skin on it and add some salsa. It will overthrow your impression of roasted chicken!
Another gem is German Pork Knuckle Meal (190). Using Taiwanese pork knuckle is brilliant because there’s more meat on the knuckle than most Taiwanese office ladies can consume for lunch.
All of the lunch compos include Jo’s garden salad and a choice of clam chowder or a soft drink. This beats the dollar menu any time! By the way next time when you crave for a juicy hamburger after 10 pm, stop by Jo’s House for Swiss Mushroom Cheese Burger (150) to get your fix.

本土速食品牌頂呱呱成立三十三年之後決定增加新品牌「Jo’s House」，中文音譯「就是好吃」，目的只為提供平價的美式食物。
想在台北市東區尋找不會讓荷包失血的午餐，這家新開的Jo’s House值得嘗試！首先介紹招牌菜Jo’s 瘋雞獨享餐 (190)，創意來自南美佳餚，把整隻雞醃在當季蔬菜水果中，創造與眾不同的口感（西班牙文叫做El Pollo Loco；中譯為瘋雞）。午餐點Jo’s 瘋雞獨享餐絕對讓你吃的飽飽，半隻瘋雞配上兩片墨西哥烤薄餅和莎莎醬。正確吃法是把肉片連皮包在墨西哥烤薄餅裡，再加上莎莎醬，從此顛覆你對烤雞的刻板印象。
此外，值得推薦的德國豬腳餐（190)，採用台灣豬腳實在是好主意，因為豬腳的肉非常多，台灣上班族女性一頓午餐可能吃不了這麼多。
所有的午餐都附有蛤蜊濃湯和泡泡汽水（二選一)和田園沙拉。這裡的套餐遠遠贏過任何標榜便宜又大碗的餐廳！順便提醒大家，下次晚上十點以後想吃多汁的漢堡，記得Jo’s House 的瑞士蘑菇漢堡(150)可以讓你得到滿足！
