PAUL (Bakery /
Café) was established in 1889 in France. This year makes the 125th
anniversary of this French brand which has expanded into 29 countries
worldwide. When PAUL first opened in Taiwan I tried the breakfast once and
vowed to never step inside again.
Under a brand new
management PAUL in Taiwan is ambitious to launch a new menu to target another
demographic who would enjoy quality food that won’t break the bank. What caught
my attention the most is the 10 oz. Hamburger featuring Australian beef. The thick
and juicy burger patty is served with a sunny side up egg on top and a side of
roasted potato. The portion is huge and only set you back NT410. One forewarning
though…no matter how you enjoy this 10 oz. burger it will be messy, burger
juices and egg yolk running onto your hands. No other way around it but worth
it!
