For someone who doesn’t hold a full-time job I’m awfully busy.
The minute I turn on my laptop and go online, I’m already at work. I kid you not. But I am glad to know that I’m the GO TO CHICK when my friends need a helping hand.
Liz says, “I want to have my farewell party at Taiwan Beer Factory. Can you call and make reservation for 20 people?”
Dave says, “I have to move out ASAP. Can you find me a place to stay?”
Sandra says, “Remember that outdoor café we walked by a few weekends ago? I’m thinking about going there. What’s the name of it?”
Paul says, “I have a gym membership but I need a workout buddy in order to be motivated. Can you find me a workout partner?”
Cassie says, “Can you take a look at this article? I need help with English to Chinese translation.”
Everest says, “Do we know anyone in Shanghai? A friend just moved there and is having a hard time. Can you hook him up with some local connections?”
Po says, “I’m stuck on this proposal. Can you come up with a list of music that’s related to Gothic culture?
Zeus says, “A friend just got into town and he’s looking for taro ice cream. Do you know where to find it?”
Fannie says, “I need to send out my CV soon. Can you translate my English CV to Chinese?”
Terry says, “I just saw a Sony TV on sale at your old job – the shopping network. Can you have it delivered to my house today?”
Vicki says, “Can you accompany me to the tailor shop? I need your opinions of the dress.”
Josh says, “I just came up with the new menu for our café. Can you take a look at it and come up with the English?”
Pamela says, “I’m broke and I need to pick up some private tutoring gigs. Know anybody?”
