of Mark O’Brien a journalist and a poet who was stricken with polio, leaving him
with only three working muscles in his body, his right foot, his neck and his
jaw.
No, this
is not a sad story of how O’Brien spent his life living in an iron lung nor an
inspiring story of how he overcame paralysis and graduated from UC Berkeley. It’s
about how a man at the age of 38 is longing for affection, intimacy and
connection. With help through a sex surrogate he experiences love physically
and emotionally. This is a feel good movie about searching for love.
