Easy House Vegetarian Cuisine was established in 2003 – the year when SARS epidemic struck Taiwan. Upon its sixth anniversary it has seven branches throughout the island, using healthy fresh ingredients to make creative fusion vegetarian cuisine. It is an alternative choice for vegetarians. When you walk into Easy House Vegetarian Cuisine the very Zen-like décor will instantly put you at ease. There is a fresh pot of authentic vintage PuErh tea on each table – it is all you can drink complimentary house tea. In this spacious dining room it’s rather a treat to take your time and enjoy a healthy meal.

By changing the menu every two years more varieties are introduced on a regular basis. Every quarter seasonal specialties are represented and only limited supply available. For summer 2009 the first recommendation is “Pumpkin And Vegetable Rice”﹙NT240/ À la carte;NT$420/set meal﹚is fried rice with jasmine rice, purple sticky rice, oats, brown rice, baby pumpkins and pickled vegetables – the last two ingredients are imported from Japan. Japanese pickled vegetable is natural green leafy vegetable and provided natural seasoning and therefore no condiment is needed. The second recommendation is “Portuguese Angel Hair In Soup” ﹙NT240/ À la carte;NT$420/set meal﹚is Italian angel hair, fresh vegetables and Hokkaido seaweed served in soup stock made of Thai curry and French milk. It has rich aroma and might taste slightly spicy – perfect to awaken your appetite during the humid summertime.

90% of the customers order the set menu because it serves a variety of food and is nutritionally balanced. It includes, fruit & vegetable energy juice, Japanese salad, pot soup, main course, seasonal fruit and desserts. Each course is served one after another like standard western dining etiquettes. As long as you are not in a hurry you can easily spend two hours enjoy this 6-course meal. Easy House Vegetarian Cuisine offers full menu all day and takeouts are available. Everything in “Relaxation Bento Box Set”﹙NT$280﹚, “Bliss Bento Box Set”﹙NT$240﹚and “Joy Bento Box Set”﹙NT$300﹚is almost the same﹙without the fruit and vegetable energy juice﹚ as the dine-in set menu at a discount price.

SARS期間創立的寬心園,如今邁入第六年,全省共有七家分店,強調以健康新鮮食材做出無國界創意蔬食料理,提供吃素者精緻的選擇。一走進寬心園,充滿禪意的裝潢讓心情頓時放鬆,每桌附有一壺陳年普洱茶,這是店家免費、無限量供應的,在寬敞的空間,慢慢的用餐是很享受的。

菜單每兩年更新一次,定期推出更多不同的選擇。而一年四季也推出符合時令的季節限量菜,今年夏天第一首推的是鮮蔬南瓜飯﹙單點240元/套餐420元﹚,以日本進口的桔瓜﹙小南瓜﹚和橄欖菜配上香米、紫米、燕麥和胚芽米做成的炒飯,完全不需調味,因為橄欖菜本身就帶鹹味,而且是最天然的綠色食品。第二道介紹的是葡國天絲麵﹙單點240元/套餐420元﹚,以泰國咖喱和法國鮮奶煮的湯底,配上義大利天使麵以及大量的新鮮蔬菜和北海道海藻,微辣口感、香氣十足,夏天吃更是開胃。

九成的客人都點套餐,因為內容豐富,營養齊全,包括精力蔬果汁、和風蔬菜沙拉、原盎精緻燉湯、季節水果和養顏甜品,以中菜西吃的方式,一道道上,只要不趕時間,你可以花兩個小時細細品嚐。寬心園全天供餐,甚至貼心的提供外帶服務,寬心餐盒﹙280元﹚、如意餐盒﹙240元﹚和喜悅餐盒﹙300元﹚,除了精力蔬果汁之外,外帶餐盒和內用的餐點是一樣的,價格更為優惠。
