Taiwan loves Thai food. This new joint, called Chef Lemongrass, replaced the previous Thai restaurant in Breeze Center at the exact same spot. When I first walked in, I thought it's deja vu cuz the interior is almost the same.
For 10 people we were able to order a lot of new dishes to try. We ordered a few according to the recommendations from the recent newspaper stories and a few more based on our own likings. Nothing really stood out except for the desserts.
The lunch business seemed busy and it's obvious that there is a shortage of manpower. We asked to see the wine list and it took 10 minutes. Then it's another 10 minutes before someone took our order for the choice of the wine. It added up to be 30 minutes before we could have the first sip of the wine.
I think a trip to Bangkok is definitely on the card now.
