Dazzling Café

It seems to be a popular place. As we walked in the hostess explained to us that we’re given 90 minutes for dining before seating.

Our waitress asked politely if a menu introduction will be needed. This is important to first time customers as well as regular patrons because it simply goes to show the quality of staff training. I’m always all ears to hear what the service staff has to say about the menu.

After a brief explanation she recommended the daily dessert specials, saying they are in limited supply. Dazzling Café is most famous for Honey Toast – one big square of toast that’s hollow inside and filled with fruits, honey, chocolate sauce and etc.

Since we weren’t hungry and just needed a place to sit down and chat over coffee we went with her recommendation and ordered Chocolate Puff and Strawberry Cake. They did look good. As I took the first bite it’s clear to me that these desserts come from a central kitchen / factory. This is what I called Dessert without a Soul. It’s decent but it’s not anything you would write home about.

The service is pleasant and courteous. Obviously the waiters and waitresses understand the concept of Dazzling Café caters to women between the age of 25 and 40 who want a glimpse of the high life.
