My blog is about the people I adore and cherish, the places I go and visit and the finer things in life that I love and appreciate. It’s about Love, Family, Relationship, Friendship and the simple pleasures in life! Every day is bliss because I do what I love and love what I do!

Reading for Scorpio from March 10-16
SCORPIO October 23-November 21
Powerful planets really move their tails for you. A romance with the rich and famous is highly possible. Actually, you're pretty high-profile yourself these days. This creative, go-for-it week is the magic moment for which you've been striving. Dare we say karma?
Above is the reading for Scorpio from March 10-16.
Back in the days my friends and I used to meet for Sunday Brunch and we would read the Horoscope prediction for the following week. Each of us would write down our own reading and by next Sunday we would take out last week's reading to see how much of it had come true.

Happy Day
Who says there’s no free lunch in this world?! This is going to be so jealous!!!
I just had a more than satisfying luncheon today and walked away with a complimentary dinner for two (value at $200USD)! I love raffle draw where everyone gets a prize!
It was the Grand Hyatt Taipei Media Spring Party. Thanks to Billy! That’s how I was invited to crash this fabulous luncheon! The featured menu is as the following:
Oyster and Seafood Bar
Kingfish Tartar with Caviar, Chive and Polenta Chip
Doubled Boiled Chicken Soup with Fish Maw, Yunnan Ham, Black Mushroom
Lime and Thyme Sherbet
Grilled Peppered Beef Tenderloin on Cauliflower Almond Mash
Pan Fried Duck Liver, Baby Asparagus and Port Wine Glaze
Grand Dessert Buffet
I enjoyed the dessert the most! Just to name a few there are warm chocolate pudding, homemade ice cream, chocolate truffles (milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate.), lemon tart, pineapple turnover and Macaron. Unfortunately my eyes are bigger than my stomach!
This meal is enough for today! Back on my diet plan tomorrow…NOT!

Be grateful for all your blessing!

Looking for TRAVIS RYAN JONES

Dear All:
Greetings from Taipei, Taiwan!
I’m writing this on the behalf of my friend Vicky Hsia. To make the long story short the purpose of this blog entry is to search for Vicky’s ex-husband Travis Ryan Jones (DOB: 1975/08/17; born in California).
Travis abandoned Vicky and their son Timmy on April 29th, 2001 soon after Vicky was diagnosed with breast cancer. Originally born and raised in Taiwan Vicky packed up and moved back to her home country with Timmy.
A month ago Vicky was admitted into ICU because cancer has spread into her entire body and a brain tumor is causing her vision. The doctor forewarns that Vicky’s life has begun a final countdown. Even though Travis and Vicky ended their marriage with a bitter divorce, Vicky’s last wish is for Timmy to meet his father, someone who has been MIS for the last seven years. Timmy often asks for his father’s whereabouts and it breaks Vicky’s heart ‘cuz Timmy has zero recollection of his dad.
Again we simply would like to track down Travis and tell him: your son is looking for you and would very much like to meet you! That’s all.
The most recent address we have for Travis is the following:
12728 Rancho Penasquitos Blvd, Apt 90
San Diego, CA 92129-2941
We’re sent a letter to the address above but no response so far. Vicky’s health has deteriorated within the last month and we fear that Timmy might never meet his father! We’ll really appreciate any help possible as long as Timmy has the chance to see his dad.
Thank you for your time!

Word of the day: Expiration Dating
There’s no future in Expiration Dating but it’s perfect for anyone who seizes the moment and enjoys the present. Dating that’s got an expiration date on it like fresh produce can lead to endless possibilities or at least memories to cherish for years to come.
James met a girl a month before she was moving from California to the East Coast.
「What’s the point of seeing her when I know she will be gone in a month?!」He asked me via MSN.
「You two can still have a good time together and who knows? Maybe you’ll like her enough to follow suit, going east to be with her! Do not underestimate the power of love!」
I’m so optimistic that sometimes I kill myself. LOL.
James didn’t want to waste time on someone who’s leaving soon. He would rather spend time with other nice booties that are more promising.
Many moons ago Peter met Tomi at a party. It was love at first sight. They really hit it off and the next day Peter took her out on their first date! It was the most perfect first date any girl could ask for. Then Tomi broke the news to Peter: she will be transferred to Taiwan for work a month from now and will be stationed in Asia for two years.
They introduced each other to their friends & family and spent Christmas together as one madly in love couple. Then came New Year’s Eve Peter took Tomi to the most prestigious ball in San Francisco on the last evening of the year. Tomi felt like a princess and wished the party would never end. She was scheduled to fly out the day after New Year’s Day.
What I’m about to tell you is not a movie and it really happened. For the first two weeks after Tomi arrived in Taipei, she talked to Peter everyday on the phone. On the 15th day Peter showed up at her door step!!! He couldn’t stand the 6,000 miles between them and decided to move to Taipei to be with the woman of his life. Just like every princess would have wished for Tomi married her Prince Charming!

Word of the Day: Sleep Slut / Dessert Slut
According to urbanditionary.com, the definition for SLEEP SLUT is the following:
One who sleeps frequently and is able to accumulate excess hours of sleep above beyond the mean. Sleep sluts are able to fall asleep indiscriminately and value sleep above all else.
I think I’ve become a sleep slut in recent months. I can never seem to get up when I have to. I never had a problem getting up in the past. This is what’s happening: when I turn off the alarm clock, I roll over and go back to sleep for at least one hour if not longer. Once I get up, I’m awake and I have no trouble staying awake. So it’s obvious that I’m not sleeping in ‘cuz I’m tired. I’m simply lazy! LOL.
My friends and I started a project together few weeks back. Our mission is to experience fine desserts, searching in every corner of Taipei. We take desserts very seriously and entrée isn’t necessary before dessert! We even bought birthday cakes for tasting, not for anyone’s birthday. It’s a celebration of sweet-in-your-mouth festivity!!!
Therefore we’re the rat pack of Dessert Sluts!

「喂!S,my bro,how are ya?」

Nightlife in Taipei: Ringside
RINGSIDE IS FULL OF SURPRISES JUST LIKE A KALEIDOSCOPE!
As the door opens automatically I hear a live band playing while the crowd singing along with Bobby Chen. My first impression of Ringside is coziness. The space is enough to accommodate about 100 people and yet it’s the perfect size to enjoy live performances for there’s barely any distance between the audience and the performers. The interactions are so intimate that most people become regulars only after their first time at Ringside.
It appears to be a full house tonight. Manager Howard says that the worst part of his job is to turn away customers who show up at the door without reservations. But he insists not to overcrowd Ringside to ensure quality and services. He suggests browsing through Ringside’s website regularly and making reservations one month in advance when your favorite artist is schedule to perform.
Bobby tells the lively crowd that even though tonight he’s scheduled to perform just one set for 45 minutes he’s determined to sing until closing and no one can stop him. We all rejoice over Bobby’s announcement! This is a surprise and the ticket price (500 per person;including one drink) now seems like a great bargain!
Then a man with shades walks into Ringside, standing by the bar alone. Bobby glances at him and what he says next makes everyone turn their attention to the bar area. 「Who’s that man? Wow, isn’t he the famous singer Xiao Huang-Chi! I bet everyone would love to hear him singing! Does everyone know that he’s also the owner of Ringside?」The audience applauds vigorously as Xiao slowly walks toward the center stage with the help of his assistant. Xiao performs three songs in a row while everyone sings along in a frenzy of joy! Anyone with a camera phones in the audience either takes snap shots of Xiao or records this dreamy performance. From now on whenever people speak of Ringside they will always reminisce tonight’s unexpected performance by the owner of Ringside Xiao Huang-Chi!
In deed Ringside is full of surprises and there’s more to it than meets the eye. Ringside is a restaurant, a club, a lounge and a venue for special events! In the last few weeks at least five marriage proposals took place in Ringside and the successful rate is 100%! What makes Ringside unique is its event planning ability. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, graduation, company gathering, Christmas, or anything that calls for a celebration, Ringside can cater to your need, plan the entire event and execute every detail.
Many regulars enjoy Ringside’s business lunch (Monday thru Friday; 12-14:30) for two reasons: all-you-can salad bar and down-to-earth prices (two choices: 150 & 180). However, the real die-hard fans of Ringside go for dinner and stay for live performance (300 per person) afterwards. In order to accommodate the regulars Ringside’s menu changes every six weeks. Currently the most praised entrée is STEAMED MONKFISH & SCALLOP WITH MUSTARD COCONUT SAUCE (620). The fish is served like a sushi hand roll and surprisingly it doesn’t fall apart like most fish do.
Ringside positions itself as a cultural center, providing art, drama, live bands, and magic shows. Ringside is so artistic that it shows in its cocktail menu. Manager Howard creates tasty cocktails that are named after classic literature. OEDIPUS THE KING (280) is based on a Greek tragedy, consisting of Australian red wine, triple sec and midori melon liqueur and creating three layers of colors. It’s a beautiful drink that goes down easily too. If you’re a fan of Shakespeare THE TEMPEST (300) is for you! Owner Xiao Huang-Chi calls it the most delicious alcoholic beverage that does a body good! The ingredients include Oreo cookies, Baileys, fresh milk and a scoop of mango ice cream.
If you are yearning for a cozy hangout after work, be sure to reserve a table at Ringside. Pleasant surprises await you!

英文有一句話說:it takes two to tango! Do what you gotta do!
