Visiting Temple -
Hinduism is the main religion in Bali. People take every religious holiday seriously. They often take time off from work to participate in ceremonies and rituals. Bali is known as the island of a thousand temples. There are family temples everywhere. They're open to the public as long as you're dressed properly. Women are not allowed to enter if they're on their period. And women have to wear the traditional sarong (a piece of cloth you wrapped around like a skirt)
